Introduction to Scopus Database
Scopus is the product of the Elsevier company
and the world's largest and most reliable online abstract database. This site
was launched in 2004 and is updated daily. Scopus covers all science areas
including biology, physics, chemistry, and social sciences. Scopus contains the
works of about 5,000 scientific publishers from across the world. In total,
Scopus has indexed 22,800 scientific journals. The use of Scopus data requires
subscription and payment, which is provided by the Ministry of Health for the
universities of medical sciences, including Kermanshah University of Medical
Sciences, and is available to researchers and students.
